Sarah Jepson-Jones is the mother to a little girl who experienced a hypoxic event during labour in 2015. Her daughter has a resulting diagnosis of quadriplegic dystonic cerebral palsy but is not defined by this diagnosis – she is also a curious, engaging and energetic girl who loves life and those around her.
A business psychologist and management coach by background, Sarah is now also an unexpected physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech and language therapist, special educational needs coordinator, nurse, advocate AND mother to her daughter. She is passionate, therefore, about helping other parents and professionals navigate the complex world of additional needs, and in making access to holistic, early intervention possible to all those who need it. She has seen the power of what happens when different specialisms work together- and also the challenges when communication lines are broken. She believes in helping children realise their full potential – and that happens through collaboration and connection. Sarah provides input to EiSmart from a parent perspective, acting as the voice of her child.
